Stockholm, Aug. 18 (CED) — Some NATO experts or someone said that Ukraine will have to give up some of its land for peace in solving the Russian-Ukraine conflict.

I fully agree with this because I even proposed it long long time ago. I think Russia wants to build a wall at its border such as Mongolia. Now it wants some republics in Donbas areas to be independent. That means Ukraine has to admit this fact and let those republics go.

If so, Russia should agree to stop attacking and Ukraine also stop fighting back. This was somewhat similar to that of the Korean Peninsula. After three years of heavy fighting, in reality, they fought for more than a year and then geared up in the 38 degree line back and forth and in the end they both agreed to cease fire.

Ukraine could have agreed with the ceasefire at the beginning and continued talks proposed by China and by Russia. I mean after five days of the special military action in Ukraine, President Putin called President Xi and explained the situation and Xi told him that China suggests Russia and Ukraine should negotiate a solution but not fight each other. It is a tragedy that the two brotherly countries fight each other so harshly.

But long time ago no one dared to say so. Of course I also sympathise with Ukraine. But the reality tells us that we must rational. History told us that Italy used to be a country that was so easy to surrender when they faced the Natzis. Why? Because they value their country more than being the winner of loser. To keep the country in peace and the historical relics in tact is the biggest winner. So each time when there are invaders, Italy mostly put up a white flag. Maybe one of Italian presidents was like that.

I highly commanded such kind of president because he was wise in protecting the real interest of the country. Italy is fully of culture and art. It is a civilized country, not for war.

The same way Czeks also bargained a peace treaty with Russia during the 1960s. Many people complained that Russian soldiers didn’t treat them nicely and so on. But it is much better than let the soldiers die in the battle field and their wives became prostitutes in other countries. When the disaster came, one must evaluate what is a better way to solve the problem.

I think Zelensky should have agreed to talk with Russia much earlier and agreed with Russian requirements to keep itself neutral. To be the vanguard of EU and NATO, the war can never stop. With the war is going on, the world’s normal life has been substantially disturbed. Gradually, there will be shortage of goods, medicine and many many other things. When that happens, there will be more proletariat who wants to fight. I am afraid the world situation will become worse and worse just because of selfish leaders.
