Stockholm, Sept.3(ChinaEuropeDialogue)– Three years ago, I visited Xinjiang. That was between August, 24 and September 2, 2018. That was the first time I visited Xinjiang in my life.
The China Europe Express train linked China and Europe and provided great convenience for long distance cargo transportation.
And then, I went to Xinjiang again on March 16-18, 2019 and on October 4-7, 2019. Xinjiang attracted me and impressed me so much.
During my second trip to Xinjiang, I went to Turpan. On the way, I saw a lot of wind turbines and Xinjiang claimed to be the world No.2 wind power generating place, second only to Denmark. I have been to Denmark and noticed that there were more marine wind turbines installed in that country while all the wind turbines in Xinjiang are installed on the land. Xinjiang has vast land. From Urumqi to Turpan, man cannot see anybody. It was just wind and soil. The yellow land is the main characteristic of the area.
When I came back from Xinjiang, I found I got a photo book called Four Seasons In Xinjiang Album. It was done by 100 photographers from all over the world and published by Wuzhou Publishing House in 2007. At that time, Xinjiang already used the tractors to collect cotton in large scale farms.
In the following articles, I will tell you in detail about my trip in Xinjiang.
