The playing field in academia: Why are women still underrepresented?

Stockholm, June 22(CED)–On 21-22 June, 2023, the Forum for Research on Gender Economics (FROGEE) together with the Centre for Economic Analysis (CenEA) and the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) will host a conference on gender inequality within the field of academia. Invited lectures by prof. Carlo Schwarz (Bocconi University) and prof. Sarah Smith (University of Bristol).

Participants said the gender equality idea should be educated from kindergarten.

They also discussed about sexual harassment in office.

How to raise awareness in this is also discussed.
