Stockholm, Oct. 13(CED)– Stockholm International Film Festival’s Program Director Beatrice Karlsson and Git Scheynius will present the program for this years’ festival, consisting of more than 130 films from over 66 countries including 13 international Academy Awards submissions. During the press conference, we present the directors and actors that will be visiting Stockholm International Film Festival.
Three of the six nominees for the Zalando Rising Star Award will attend the press conference today:
Carla Sehn– Latest seen in Stammisar, Love & Anarchy and Vuxna människor. Sehn won her first movie award at the Sweden Short film Festival for best actress in the short film Half Brother (2017). Later on, she was nominated for best supporting actress for her role as Beata in the feature film Sagan om Karl-Bertil Johnssons julafton (2021).
Sara Shirpey-Latest seen in Spelskandalen, En mot en och Diorama. Shirpey has been seen in multiple film end TV productions, Topdog (2020)Lyckolandet (2022) to name a few. She is also starringin the upcoming feature film UFO Sweden (2022).
Solomon Njie– Latest seen in En mot en.Nije has a background in soccerand got noticed through his sketches on social media, which landed him a role asOusman in the TV series En mot en (2022). He is also starring in the upcoming season two of the TV series Topdog later this fall.
Stockholm International Film Festival 2022 will be taking place between 9 – 20 November.
