The US and the EU joined hands to criticise China and put up sanctions against China but faced rejection from China. Why? The US and EU should reflect on their strategies against China.

If you think you keep on pressuring China, China will give in and listen to you. In fact, China did listen and had been improving in many ways, but you continuously criticise and put up pressure. This has accumulated a counter force that will talk back. And it is not surprised that Foreign Ministry spokewoman Hua Chunying voiced China’s reaction.

Does the US and EU really want to improve relations with China? If you really want to, you should care about China’s core interest. Chinese will never surrender from outside force.

Thus if you like to see any changes, you have to reflect and not just keep on blaming on China on everything.

Sanctions can only harm bilateral relations.
